Bluetooth isn't part of the Columbus, it's a separate module, usually under the drivers seat. I'm not sure updating the Columbus would give you what you want as it's possibly a feature of the Bluetooth module rather than the Columbus itself.

So I'm thinking: Disconnect the 2 pin white plug on the Car Systems loom that connects the co-ax mic lead back into the main loom (don't want it to go to the BT unit) Connect the end of the co-ax to the GreyBlack / PurpleBlack leads going into the Columbus (mic now connected to head unit)
