Lackof support. As an experiment, I took a long walk around my borough, starting with my Made in England Dr. Martens and switching to my Red Wing Iron

AnyDoc Martens fans here? How would you compare the quality of different decade English made shoes? 2000's (before they moved production to China), 90s, 80s, 70s, etc? possibly better made and better shaped than the podgy DM footwear, and still made in Northamptonshire, yet much the same price:
WriteDoc Marten UK. If they're the top-notch line of boots/shoes (and not the cheaper Docs), there's a cobbler in England they do refer you to. It can be done, but it isn't cheap, I imagine. Source: Mine are 20 years old, soles still going well, but wanted to know just in case. So I wrote them.
Thismonochrome sandal keeps it black throughout including the buckles and welt stitch. Set on a Smoke Shore sole, each pair is finished with a soft leather footbed and branded leather swing tag. Repello Calf suede is a soft, textured premium leather. Care with Dr. Martens Suede Cleaner. Made in England at our original Wollaston factory. Q6zNzo2.
